Character Artists
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Be responsible for the art design and production of characters, and have a good grasp of the production of various styles of characters and animals.
- Be responsible for the import, export and optimization of the character and related models.
- Use art tools to enhance the artistic expression of characters.
- Communicate and report progress and problems to the team leader in a timely manner.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Proficient in the Unreal material module and lighting module, and capable of adjusting parameters in the later stage to enhance the artistic effect.
- Be familiar with modeling and texture drawing tools (Maya preferred).
- Possess a certain aesthetic sense, acute observation skills and the idea of pursuing excellence.
- Possessing a solid foundation in fine arts, having a good grasp of the project’s artistic style, with clear UV gradation and fine texture mapping.
Environment Artists – Terrain/Lights
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Mainly responsible for the compilation and optimization of Unreal scene terrain.
- Be responsible for the import, export and optimization of the model.
- Be responsible for the presentation of the scene terrain, complete the rendering of terrain/lighting phenomena and the production of materials.
- Communicate and report progress and problems to the team leader in a timely manner.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Proficient in the Unreal material module and lighting module, and capable of adjusting parameters in the later stage to enhance the artistic effect.
- Be familiar with stylized terrain creation tools.
- Proficient in UE scene construction, terrain, and vegetation systems, capable of independently creating realistic scene Spaces.
- Be familiar with modeling and texture mapping tools.
- Possess a certain aesthetic sense, acute observation skills and the idea of pursuing excellence.
Prop Artists
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Mainly responsible for the art design of various dynamic and static objects as well as interactive props.
- Be responsible for the import, export and optimization of object and prop models.
- Use art tools to enhance the artistic expression of various art assets.
- Communicate and report progress and problems to the team leader in a timely manner.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Familiar with modeling and texture mapping tools (with priority given to Maya, SubstancePainter).
- Possessing a solid foundation in fine arts, having a good grasp of the project’s artistic style, with clear UV gradation and fine texture mapping.
- Possess a certain aesthetic sense, acute observation skills and the idea of pursuing excellence.
Graphics Programmers
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop or enhance existing graphics technologies (rendering, lighting, shading, shaders, culling, partitional management, etc.) to help achieve advanced visual effects.
- Work closely with other members of the program team to assist in integrating graphics technology, determine the expansion of this technology, and help create these improvements.
- Work with artists, designers and other content creators to ensure they can make full use of technology.
- Occasionally guide and support less experienced team members.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong ability to read English documents.
- A degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
- More than 3 years of experience in PC or console graphic development.
- Practical skills with C/C++. Technical understanding of the inner workings of the engine.
- Experience in HLSL or other vendor-specific shader programming languages.
- Experience with 3D graphics APIs (Direct3D 11+, OpenGL, Vulkan and/or other specific vendors).
- Experience in debugging graphics pipelines using relevant platform tools such as RenderDoc, Pix, Razor GPU, etc.
- Experience in multithreaded programming. Experience in handling large code bases.
- It is best to be familiar with the PCG production pipeline of tools such as Houdini and Substance Designer.
Program Lead – Gameplay
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work with the art and design team to design, implement and maintain the relevant systems, in order to create various interaction systems for the game protagonist and the backend logic.
- Implement well-designed, robust and optimized combat gameplay features and integrate them into our protagonist, animations, gameplay and physics systems.
- Focus on memory and performance, while striving to achieve more realism, credibility and accuracy, and implement various systems with limited resources.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong ability to read English documents.
- Practical skills with C/C++ and Unreal Engine.
- Technical understanding of core game systems and technologies.
- Strong mathematical ability.
- Understand common animation techniques, such as animation trees.
Code – Open-world AI, Gameplay Interactions & Mechanics
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work with the art and design teams to design, implement and maintain systems to create advanced open-world AI simulations, various interactive systems and back-end logics.
- Implement well-designed, robust and optimized combat gameplay features and integrate them into our existing AI characters, animations, gameplay and physics systems.
- Focus on memory and performance, while striving to achieve more realism, credibility and accuracy, and implement various systems with limited resources.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong ability to read English documents.
- Practical skills with C/C++ and Unreal Engine.
- Technical understanding of core game systems and technologies.
- Strong mathematical ability.
- Understand common animation techniques, such as animation trees.
- Relevant system experience such as: population, flow, multithreading, memory management, etc.
Code – Mission Flow
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Mainly responsible for implementing stable and efficient backend logic for tasks as needed, and executing a well-designed, robust and optimized open-world task process framework.
- Focusing on memory and performance, we strive to achieve a smooth open-world mission backend framework.
- Communicate and report progress and problems to the team leader in a timely manner.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong ability to read English documents.
- Practical skills with C/C++.
- Be familiar with the application of Unreal C++, blueprint and components.
- Technical understanding of core game systems and technologies.
- Experience in building related framework systems or related systems.
Level Director
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Mainly responsible for formulating the plans for game scenes and levels based on the storyline and theme style, creating various scenes with a sense of hierarchy.
- Work closely with artists, programmers, and designers to ensure that the scene design is compatible with all elements of the game and ensure the rationality and overall coordination of the scene.
- Proactively identify and mitigate risks, ensuring projects remain on schedule and within budget.
- Assist in the production of scripts and narrative plans, etc., and strive to achieve a narrative that is novel and in line with the overall tone.
- Drive Agile methodologies and best practices to maximize team productivity and output.
- Communicate and report progress and problems to the team leader in a timely manner.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Excellent art & design skills and be able to draw excellent scene concept sketches and detailed designs.
- Technical understanding of the overall logic of various technical implementations in Unreal Engine and related tools.
- Experience in participating in the development of open world scenario plans.
- Impeccable English speaker with strong written and verbal communication skills. Good at communicating with artists, programmers and designers.
- Strong ability to balance creative vision, technical feasibility, and project constraints.
- Extensive PC/console game playing experience. Hardcore 3D game player.
- Possess a certain aesthetic awareness, keen observation and pursuit of excellence.
Technical Animators
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Be responsible for formulating complete animation production standards to ensure that character binding, costume binding and realistic animation can meet the requirements of the product quality. Solve various technical problems encountered in MoCap and Facial Capture.
- Independently develop animation and binding tools required for art.
- Coordinate work with other content creators in a timely manner and communicate accurately with outsourced teams.
- On the premise of ensuring stability, keep up with the the latest cutting-edge technologies and R&D solutions for tools in the industry.
- Quickly locate performance hotspots & solve technical issues.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong ability to read English documents.
- Fully understand the principles and usage methods of animation blueprints/animation state machines/animation hybrid trees.
- Be familiar with script development for maya and 3dsmax (python preferred).
- Deep understanding of binding and animation production.Be familiar with the principles of splitting, assembling, animation blending and IK retargeting.
- Deep understanding of the principles of realistic facial expressions.
- Practical skills with C# and Unreal Engine.
- Understanding of 3D Math functions (linear algebra & vector maths).
- It is preferred to be familiar with MaxScript and have experience in high-fidelity animation / CG movies in television production.
Technical Artists – General / Rendering Focus
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Be responsible for communication between art and programming, cooperate to achieve artistic effects, and enhance the overall expressiveness of the graphics.
- Establish norms for art resources to enhance the usability and standardization of exported resources.
- On the premise of ensuring stability, keep up with the the latest cutting-edge technologies and R&D solutions for tools in the industry.
- Quickly locate performance hotspots & solve technical issues.
- Key targeted directions: interactive fluids, lights and shadows, volumetric fog, post-processing, particle effects, fabric and hair systems, etc.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong ability to read English documents.
- Be familiar with at least one Shader encoding of GLSL/HLSL/Cg (HLSL preferred), and be able to apply it to product-level graphic production and optimization.
- Be familiar with the basic principles of graphics, PBR, rasterization rendering pipelines, and high-quality real-time rendering technologies.
- Practical skills with C/C++ and Unreal Engine.
- Proficient in using Profile tools such as RenderDoc to significantly reduce or eliminate the probability of resource errors.
- Proficient in using stylized production tools, with experience in creating high-fidelity graphic production & specifications.
